You know, one would think Bush & his cronies would have better things to do, you know with a war going rather badly, and a nation that is just short of hating him in the poles.

But no, Mr. Born “again Christian” Bush and his fellow Puritan co-horts are going after such non-essential and inane issues as fining Stations for showing “Lewd” or obscene content. Now, don’t get me wrong, I think a lot of what is on DAYTIME TV is way too sexual, etc, especially since so many parents rely on the TV t watch over little Jimmy & Bobby-Sue. But recently the FCC fined Without A Trace 3.3 million dollars for airing a simulated orgy scene. Nothing *that* bad was shown.. really now. And besides, “Without A Trace” is on late, well late enough & is not appropriate for young viewers whether or not it has a simulated orgy scene. (Just as a note, the link to the video is from the group that had Without A Trace fined.. so It’s ok for them to have it for download for ANYONE to get… but it being on TV late, that’s bad..)

This is just another example of the government going after the wrong people. Their usual tactic is to go after game makers, as putting “M” (for mature) on the games isn’t obvious enough on top of the covers with guns & “hoes” to make parents think, “huh, maybe this isn’t appropriate for my 8 year old”….

Who’s to blame? PARENTS! If you can’t fucking be responsible, you shouldn’t have kids!!! Besides all it really takes for most kid is a good sit-down talk about the games, their content, reality, etc. Most kids are smart enough to get it. So if you really want to buy GTA for Little Jimmy, just spend a half hour or so playing it with him and then talk to him about it.

Same goes for TV, stop cracking down on the stations & start cracking down on the parents. Especially when the show is on at 9 or 10 at night! If it was on at 6pm, fine.. then make a big deal about it, tell them it must not be played until after 10pm (that’s what CTV did with the sopranos, they even aired it un-cut, and un censored! on non-cable! they just played it at 10pm when the kids should be in bed anyway.)

It’s just funny, someone shows a Tit on TV and all hell breaks loose.. yet most “dramas” on the TV include gross violence (people getting shot, etc). So violence is good, sex is bad… pleasure.. bad… pain & suffering.. good? No wonder you all are so fucked up

We got up at around 7 this morning (eastern Time). After getting a healthy breakfast from Dunkin Doughnuts (whose bagels suck by the way) we headed downtown on the bus… 20 minutes later we are about a block from the convention centre (Hynes). We check in to the center and register and get our pretty purses (why the hell do they give out bags???) and head out to explore the city… first stop, we decide is the Boston Aquarium. So we ask for directions. A security guard for the mall the convention center is next to helps us out and points us in the right direction, but we decided to check the mall out and get an early lunch, I have a tasty club on a croissant and Aaron has sushi. We then head for the aquarium, the map says a 30 minute walk… we make it in 50… only because A: I stopped in the commons to take pics of every squirrel I see (they are fucking HUGE) and we stop at starbucks (one of the 12 or so we passed today) for some refreshment.

The aquarium is awesome. We see lots of neat fish (pics to come) and turtles and sharks, etc… admission wasn’t too bad at 15.50/person USD. We hang there for an hour or so and then go exploring… we get lost… WAY lost.. it takes us an hour or so to find the commons again. After that we check out a cool mac-internet café and I upload my pics form the digital camera (will be posted later) and then we try and get back to the hotel… We find our bus again, and take a 45 minute rush-hour ride back to Newton (where our hotel is) we happen to be on the last run for that particular bus, and miss our stop (figuring it will pull around again to where we got on) but the driver is nice and drops us off anyway. It is now 6pm and we are going to Applebee’s again… (yes Mer, I know…)

Mer got bored. So she created are group of friends as South Park characters. I kid you not. This is me Now, she more or less went off of people’s personalities, not thier looks. That’s why I have a rifle in one hand in a beer in the other, and wearking my heart on my shirt.

I think it’s spot on, and so are the rest of the gang.
