Wishlist

Ok, So I used to keep my wishlist on Wishlistr, but It was yet another page to send people to, etc.. So here it is here, Broken Down into Cheap, moderate, expensive and “retarded”.

Note: I’m slowly re-building this list, I got a lot of what I wanted on my old wishlistr list (except the $2200.00 Ibanez guitar!! ;) So Anyway, It may take a while before this list is fully flushed out.

PS: I don’t actually expect to get anything on here, it’s just a list of thing me really wantie…

Cheap ($0 - $50)

Moderate ($51 - $100)

Expensive ($101 - $500)

  • Pioneer 7.1-Channel XM Ready HDMI Receiver (VSX-917V-K file_pdf-12×12.gif) - $499.99 @ Futureshop
What I like about this receiver is that it is cheap (when compared to similar models, especially from Harmon-Kardon & Sony) and it has inputs for everything, and even does Audio/Video switching of all sources (including HDMI).
  • Cuisinart PrepPlus 11 Cup Food Processor - $299.99 @ Linens and Things
Thought it doesn’t necessarily need to be this model, it does need to be at least 9 cup capacity and able to make /kneed dough. It also should be able to chop, shred, emulsify, etc. There is a Kitchen Aid model that is similar but doesn’t come with as many blades, etc.

Retarded ($500+)

  • Nikon D40 Digital SLR (with 18-55mm lens) - $729.99 @ Futureshop (review @ Digital Photography Review)
Even though it is only rated at 6.1MP, I think that for our use (Rhonda and myself) it is more than enough. You can print larger than 11″x17″ photos with 6MP. The camera is also apparently very easy to use, helping out when you let it (auto-adjusts settings based on internal DB of over 30,000 environments) but will also allow you to tweak to your hearts content if you want to manually override any settings.
